has more to do with income/SES than race.
when I was in high school, there was this area of kids that went to our school that were "not so well off." It was a big tailor park community, and I would fear ever driving into that place, but those kids needed to go to school... all kids deserve a fair chance.
needless to say, they were the ones in our high school that were pregnant in 10th grade or that were found to have STDs. but the truth is, when you dont have a lot of money to go to the mall, see a movie or even be able to get to parties, the only thing thats left is to bone... and they sure didnt have enough money to buy birth control or condoms.
the one girl I knew from there, her sister was 18 and had 3 kids. Her first was when she was 15
