Half the girls he bangs probably do it for free in hopes of hanging around him with the goal of spending his money.
To think Charlie actually drops this money is naive. Celebrity has its benefits, including hanger on's ... and if you play the game as well as them, they won't cost you anywhere near as much as they *hope* they will get out of you.
