Cockroaches may be on the McDonalds Menu

Sounds far fetched? Think about this: the Earth's population is blowing up at an alarming rate. However, agricultural efficiency is fast approaching a saturation point. What's the solution? INSECTS FOR FOOD.

No joke. While it takes 10 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of beef, the same amount of grain produces 6 to 8 pounds of INSECT MEAT.

Low cholesterol. Low fat. Just chunky, nutty, insect goodness. Not out of the realm of possibility to see ROACHES on the Mickey D menu in the future...

Here's more BONUSES with an insect diet:

Quote:
Insects are abundant, produce less greenhouse gas and manure, and do not transfer any diseases, when eaten, that can mutate into a dangerous human form, say the researchers.
