It looks like this is the moment of truth for Twitter. After all the hoopla and "will change the world" sheep talk in both the blogosphere and mainstream media, now is the time for the Twitter hype tire to meet the road. Twitter has finaly launched its self-serve ad platform to a select few advertisers

Just like with any new implementation, expect some rough spots. The key is how Twitter manages to finetune as it focuses on profits.
