oh come on, Ukraine is probably the most democratic and the level of competition in politics is really high. But that doesn't change fact that Ukraine is'nt the nicest place to live. Well, it IS if you've got a truckload of cash, but that's not the case I guess
I've been to all those countries, and my pick is Latvia. Quite comfortable for living AND it's easy to get permanent resident status, it's like 70k euro worth investments, financial (company, stocks) or real estate. You don't even have to live there all the time to get the status.
Taxes - I might be wrong but here's what I got: 26% personal income, 15% corporate, 21% vat, 0.5 to 1.5% real estate, social insurance 9% (and extra 24% paid by employer).
