No consipiracy here, the U.S. has kept the Mubarak regime in power for 30 years.
The Mubarak autocracy (funny how U.S. supports these totalitarian regimes) has failed and the people have had enough.
It is no longer a problem of the U.S. They have lost control and they are spread far to thin to really do anything about it, which is a good thing.
Btw, the money or "aid" you describe doesn't do shit for the citizens, and they don't ask for it. In this case Mubarak has demanded it all these years to keep himself and his cronies flush while he agrees to be a good U.S. lap dog.
