linkspun is just a tool. it is not refusing trades, people are.
when you request a trade you could have dropped that in the comment box to explain your link trade rationale.

This site is 12 years old and has Google site links. Search for this site and you get the link to the domain, plus 8 links to various categories and, finally, a "More results from..." link.
There are currently "About 2,220,000 results (0.17 seconds)" for this domain. Its a PR 1, but it gets crawled and cached almost instantly after I update - and ranks in Google's top ten for almost every category I cover.
I laugh at the sites that don't even rank for their keywords that have PR4 and refuse trades with me - so I just made all of my sites invisible.
Link Spun works great if you are pumping out endless, shitty, non-updating sites. If you have an established site and want to fill out your trades - look elsewhere.
