Yours dropped because you sell links in your footer... and
"I am always using custom descriptions for my links" - that text doesn't benefit your site, it benefits the site you're linking to (and your readers). Then you have far more external links to other people than internal links to yourself - if most of the content you linked to was also hosted by you - you would probably be able to slip the footer links in.
