ok get a chop stick from a chinese place, and break up the herb really good. Don't put too much, just a little covering the bottom. Once it heats up, stir it up, hit, repeat. When you finally cook it up enough but don't ignite it, and the herb is good you will feel a body high ulike smoking.
first times you'll dump the herbs out before they really start to cook, and that is where it lacks. Don't overfill it or the air won't go through the screen... unless you have one of those little drawer kind which I don't know about. It's all in how you grind, pack, and hand movement.
whips are the best... you should use way way less herb if you're doing it right. I bet the stuff you dumped is still smokeable too.
