Whatever money is still owing should still exist. It was earned, it was in people's accounts, therefore it's there, wherever "there" is.
As in, in someone else's bank account, or perhaps it's still in motion.
Money in motion this long has to be somewhere past Jupiter by now, maybe even Uranus.
