That's the reason I canceled my contract on AT&T years ago.
Like I said before:
"I had the original iPhone when they first came out but canceled service after a few months because the service sucked donkey balls ... I thought is was a great EVERYTHING ELSE device ... just a shitty phone on AT&T."
And since it's going to be my back-up phone I need the phone part to actually function ... which is what I hope will separate it on Verizon from AT&T. If not, I'm getting a Droid

Reason I said to put it aside, was this is supposed to be a non issue on the verizon network, and we honestly won't know for a few weeks right? Once enough people have them and either complain about it or they don't.
Functionality wise, it works better than any other phone I've used. I personally hate at&t but put up with it until I see a phone worth switching to. Also if tons of people switch from at&t, the network might improve a lot!
