Over the last 10 years, you can add being mugged by 8 immigrants and even though I put two in the hospital, they didn't do shit about it.
But if they catch you smoking weed, they fucking react.

That sums things up nicely. Unlike any other company that can only gain more customers if it provides a quality service at a price people are willing to pay for it, the police is a security company that has no incentive whatsoever to provide a good service because they force the people anyway to buy their services.
