I find that sugar diet 15g per day thing to be quite ridiculous, if not downright UNhealthy to be honest. It's about people messing with their blood sugar levels, and it includes those simple naturally-occuring sugars in natural foods on it's hit list, and those sugars are what the body easily metabolizes for energy to do everything from lifting the remote to, well, breathing. Focusing on sugar intake to that extreme isn't the answer.

Salt, well, I just never add salt to food once it's on the plate. Period. I add a pinch here or there into the recipe when needed (mostly seasoning salt, not pure table salt) but that's it. I reach for the pepper when I need to shake something on the food.

And I don't eat a shit-ton of pre-cooked frozen "processed" food, but some of the ones I do buy are on the low salt "blue menu" line. Still not as good as making something with fresh ingredients and cooking it yourself but few of us have time to do that every day.
