In all seriousness, I would have to look up the thread. But it was in reference to a remark from the Doc. I mainly ask because aspartame is in Crystal Light, Diet Coke, among many other things.

There are a lot of studies going around that are saying although the "diet" substances by themselves may not be all that bad for you, it's the psychological effect that will whack you. Diet soda, extra Big Mac!
My theory is if I'm going to have a soda, I'm going to have a soda. But I only have one. Screw diet. Regular gives me the rush I want, 160 calories, and I'm not eating other crap to fulfill my sweet craving.
