My contribution to the industry..

Eh, figured I may as well contribute to something so here it is, im including 2 custom made programs that should speed up your gallery making process.

File Copy:

This program was made for cleaning out recips that you no longer use. Was designed for advanced submitter but im sure other could put use to it. You get a list of recip files on a notepad that your using, load it into the program and tell the program where to move those files to. Leaving the old dead recips that you no longer use in the current directory, leavinng you the option to delete them or leave them or what ever..

File Rename Program:

This program is made for making mass galleries, as some of you know I run a gallery submission service and it's not uncommon to have to build 30 galleries a day for a client at a time. All you do is make the template with lets say 15 pics, in the template make them look for pics 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg etc.. after you build your templates like that, then you pick out your content. load the main dir which holds all the content folders you will be using for your galleries into the program, click the button and boom it renames you content sets to fit your template. If this all sounds confusing play with the program a bit and you'll pick it up :] I can now get 30 galleries done in 5 mins after making the templates.

These were designed in VB6 so you will need the runtime files if there not on your system.

If you decide to use one of these programs all I ask is for a small donation of $1-$5. If you wish to donate contact me on icq 8218548 for donation details :] Hope you guys may find some of these programs useful, I know the people who lack programming knowledge like me sure will. Happy gallery building
