An adult film company's version of fun in the sun - the filming of a porno movie in a public park near Miami Beach - has city officials fuming.
The skin flick titled "Island Adventure" and produced by RealityKings.com, was shot in broad daylight on Monument Island and used a 110-foot obelisk as the backdrop, the Miami Herald reported.
Miami Beach officials were less than thrilled by the film, which features characters such as "Captain Stabbin" and a redhead named "Brooklyn."
"This is not an uninhabited island miles off the coast," Assistant City Manager Hilda Fernandez told the Herald. "It's in the middle of a very busy bay. You can't go filming pornos in public parks."
The monument that appears in the movie is the Flagler Memorial, dedicated to oil baron Henry Flagler, who's credited with helping develop South Florida. Just two years ago, taxpayers approved a $1 million restoration project for the memorial.
