Congratulations Colin. From my perspective, no other person in the adult industry today deserves this award more than you.
I've been lucky enough to have been included, and I'd go as far as to say pseudo-adopted into the Wasteland/Rowntree family. It's funny to think that an interview request those years ago lead to such an outcome, but I truly look upon Colin as a father figure and a mentor. I am honored that I can look up to someone with the values, and tenacity to stand up for what is right - in this case, free speech.
A Relentless desire to do more, be better...it's inspiring, however it can be exhausting at times, to be perfectly honest. Colin, your never-ending energy and enthusiasm to be innovative and contribute to the adult entertainment community wears out myself - a man almost half your age. That alone speaks volumes about who Colin is, and how he and the entire Wasteland family have been able to achieve such amazing things...things that stretch beyond their own profitability and growth - things that effect us all, as members of this community. We all owe Colin a debt of gratitude.
This is a lot more long-winded than I was aiming for, but in truth it's difficult to congratulate and state publicly what kind of person Colin is in 50 words or less.
Colin, Congratulations - Your contributions have rightfully been recognized, and I couldn't be happier for you!
