It's not like breaking a RNC from a trained person is ever going to be easy, for sure when a blackbelt life long trained fighter gets it on you... come on.

I didn't explain the ground one, just no reason to sit and explain every situation that could come about and again, if a life long trained blackbelt gets on you - it's going to be damn near impossible to get off.

I hope Billy is okay...
Billy is fine. We had two Machado Black Belts in the house at one point, one of the funniest nights I've had in a long time listening to their stories.

Bro, I'll say it again. "You" break out of a RNC and armbar because it's applied incorrectly. The Judo counter you posted earlier works, a percentage of the time. I've actually been taught the counter and tested on it, with a non compliant partner. Against a live roll, I'd probably get it 2 out of 10 times, and I'm trained in it. But no one I know would slap it standing, RNC would be slapped on after your posture has been broken and position dominated. Then your judo counter, and finger counter don't work a damn.

I can teach anyone the RNC and have them effective with it in 10 minutes choking people out.

So you know next time the correct defense to being choked, armbarred, tapped out... Is not to be caught in it. I'd explain it more, but it's something you have learn when you train submission fighting.
