Happens all the time. There's this old bachelor farmer in my hometown. You never see him, he never leaves his little shack. He's basically a hermit. One day my dad told me what happened to him. Way back in the day he was a popular kid, yadda yadda, had a great life. he started messing around with some little super christian girl, and they got to fucking. She got knocked up, her righteous daddy started losing his shit, so she called rape. Ran around town telling everyone that this guy raped her. So he was subject to daily assbeatings, and eventually jail. Couple years later the guilt must have gotten to her or something and she spilt the truth. After all the shit the guy went through he can't even handle being around people anymore. He's completely fucked, and been that way for decades now.
