If Shelley Lubben comports herself the same way before Cal OSHA as she did in the videos above, they will surely see her as the religious zealot nutjob opportunist that she is.
Michael Weinstein of AFH is the real one to watch for. As I understand it, ever since his gay lover passed away from HIV/AIDS, Weinstein has managed to parlay his personal tragedy into a multi-million dollar empire that shakes down the pharmaceutical industry and the government for millions of dollars to enable AFH to make still millions more as a result of its lobbying efforts (seems like a conflict of interest to me).
Lubben is a bush league amateur activist compared to Weinstein, who is adept in both grandstanding for the media, as well as in lobbying and fundraising.
Lubben and Weinstein are indeed strange bedfellows (since he is gay, and she is anti-gay, even though she appeared in several lesbian videos during her short stint in porn - her prostitute career prior to getting in the adult biz was much longer), however they are essentially united in using the adult industry to try and advance their own agendas, fundraising, and pocket books, as disparate as they are:
