I think you'll need a wide angle attachment as well for shooting pov stuff or close, like inside a van... get a good one so you can focus through it... this should last 3-4 years or more... BTW you can go straight to HD but I always use cards... |

Thanks but I bought the Sony Handycam...I got it with insurance for $330. It will meet my needs and it is small enough that I can hang it around my neck and walk around with it with family.
