someone posted here a while back that they polled 1000 members of their various sites with the general question: "Why do you pay for porn?"
and the biggest response was "because i'm tired of getting virus/malware/email spam from tubes and torrents"
the comment from that user in your original post is hardly an isolated incident, millions of people are quite aware of whats going on with torrents now so they are staying away.
before the onslaught of legal action against torrent sites and downloaders everyone would say (you can find countless posts in the archives here) "they'll never get to torrents, torrents are here to stay blah blah blah"
so its understandable when people say "they'll never get to the illegal tubes etc" and its only because the right way, the effective way, has yet to be presented...
in summary, people who think adult industry lawyers don't have the clout or wherewithall to find the tube's "achilles heel" think again...
