I've read enough of this thread, so here are some bullet points for y'all:
1. Max Hardcore has a right to shoot porn. I would fight and die for his right to produce the kind of porn he produces. It is consensual, and all performers are over 18.
2. The kind of porn Max shoots is, in my opinion, abusive, disgusting and sick. Some people like that shit, I do not so I don't watch it.
3. Just because a girl asks to be 'raped", gets off on it, seeks it out and is 100% okay with it does NOT mean that that girl is not mentally-disturbed. Does she have the right to want to be raped? Yes. Does she need serious psychological help? Yes.
4. Do porn producers like Max "exploit" girls like I described in Point #3? Perhaps. Is it his right to do so as long as he acts in accordance to the law? Yes.
5. Some girls may THINK they "want it" and are "okay" with abusive, degrading sex acts, but in reality are financially desperate and/or mentally unbalanced. Is this Max's "fault"? Absolutely not. See Point #4.
6. Should the Government do it's best to regulate both porn producers like Max and financially desperate and/or mentally-disturbed female performers in an attempt to "protect them from themselves and/or the general public"? In THEORY: perhaps. In ACTUALITY: no fucking way.
Conclusions:
1. If you don't like something - whether it be Max Hardcore or Disney - then here's an idea......DON'T WATCH IT.
2. If the Government wants to fuck with you, you're fucked, regardless of if you're "right" (or even have rights). You're fucked, period.
3. Knowing Conclusion #2, producers like Max Hardcore must realize they are living on the edge of tolerance and, well, these things happen when that's where you live.
BOTTOM LINE: Max has the right to do what he does but should not be shocked when what he does causes him problems (and I'm sure he's not, he's a very smart man).
So Max: move somewhere where the Government is more tolerant of your right to produce the type of content you produce. Perhaps Paul Markham's country?
