brutal, nice of these 'sources' to gossip to a tabloid. he's dying, there's nothing left of him. that's what cancer does in the end stage, it consumes every cell/tissue in your body like Pacman times a million.
unless doctors tell you chemo has a solid chance of curing or getting you back to some quality of life for a decent amount of time - refuse it. it just prolongs and adds to the misery.
when my dad's cancer recurred and the doctor told him it had spread, my dad said 'i'm just going to let it rip'. my mom and us kids begged him to try chemo, we were still clinging to hope that chemo could buy him some good years - doctors don't want to tell you what they don't think you want to hear, perhaps they should. anyway the chemo just made my dad's last few months worse. people should go out on their own terms, if they can't accept they're dying then let them get chemo but if it were me I'd rather take some pills and peacefully go before the monster completely ravaged me.
