e's are never pure mdma anyway but that should be the main ingredient. Back in the early 90's here in the UK, I gave a "red and yellow" capsule to a friend who wanted it for a friend of his who was a reporter. She (the reporter) took my pill along with about 30 other ones that were about back then, to a lab to be analyzed.
She then wrote an article - it was like a 4 page spread in a magazine like GQ, i can't remember the name of it, there was a a big photo of my pill on the front cover - and out of all the pills tested mine was the purest and even that was only 55% mdma and the rest barbiturates. They were great though and nothing like the pills you get in the UK now.
You can get pure mdma by the gram fairly easy here though like damian says.
