do what I did, dig out some old photos of hers that are messed up and have them retouched, fixed up and framed - thats what I did for mine before they passed. In my case it was old photos from her wedding, a few had been messed up, so I fixed them and now they on wall... in my opinion people that age dont care for "things" but they love memories.
