Reading this Associated Press report on Libya I ran across this quote ...

"Mercenaries are everywhere with weapons. You can't open a window or door. Snipers hunt people," she said. "We are under siege, at the mercy of a man who is not a Muslim."

My question is, for the people/citizens actually involved, are these religious, economic or what protests?
