Well I wasn't trying to convince you so I didn't provide evidence of a worldwide flood, although it was a possibility. There's no evidence that it couldn't happen either so we just left it at that.
The flood that led to many stories around the World is put down to the last Ice Age. When the ice surrounding the enormous lake, that was where the Great Lakes are now, melted and cause sea levels to rise. It cause the flooding of a lake in the location of todays Black Sea.

The World Wide spread of the story is very logically explained by flooding and Tsunamis not being isolated one off events.

As early man had no understanding of these things. What a great way for the priests and rulers to control their people. Do as we tell you God commands or perish in a flood.

The problem with the Ark story is easy to explain. The Ark wasn't big enough to carry all the creatures on the Earth at that time, only big enough to carry the animals the people telling the story thought existed. And even if it just carried them, it was not big enough and not sea worthy.

Plus the technology of the time, it couldn't be built. Nice story to frighten the kids with. Just like the big bad bogey man. In reality more bullshit.

If you want to read a modern bullshitter tripping out illogical crap to answer critics with the truth http://www.christiananswers.net/crea...tastrophe.html

"It's in the Bible so it must be true." Even though the bible is bullshit.
