actually i've used torrents plenty of times. there was even a company around here about 3-4 years ago spamming about it. p2p something? i didnt buy their shit but i figured out how to do it myself.
when i need to promote an unknown website i will add some full length videos to my seedbox and then push them over to cheggit and several other torrent sites. the torrent whores will dl the video and want more. since its an unknown site they want more but there's no other torrents. a small percentage join.
its a decent marketing ploy..
