It's hot as hell, and I'll take this any day over the bullshit in Kansas...a "pleasant" 75 degrees; yet you go out for a walk and come home needing six weeks of showers because you're dripping with sweat. Ick, ew, and no thanks.
I'll take "dry heat" over that humidity crap. Same goes for "dry cold" - I'd rather spend a winter in Colorado than Kansas or Oklahoma. 20 below in CO feels like 20 above in the so-called "heartland."
