The Academy Awards are huge, especially with women and homosexuals - other networks and entertainment companies, even professional sports leagues, try to avoid going up against the Academy Awards broadcast.

If I were a TV exec I'd have ponied up as much as I had to to hire Charlie Sheen to host Charlie Sheen's Oscar Party on PPV - fill his house with pornstars, B list celebs, rockstars and drugs and just turn on the cameras. Tell me anybody who wouldn't be checking that out.
