Out of curiosity why do you want a Monkey? I know they look adorable and
can be cute and cuddly but there also is another side to them. Not so much a danger (the breeds we’re talking about) but the work involved. Some live to be 20 to 25 years old. Basically it’s a life long commitment that most people won’t endure. They are noisy and extremely active during the day (if they’re not it’s a sure sign of being sick) need plenty of room with some sort of jumping environment, especially the smaller Monkeys can jump 6 to 10 feet, They get sick just like a child maybe even more so and need regular Vet care. Also very messy and sure to destroy any area you keep them in. They really don’t belong in captivity.
