I've told the girls the same thing over and over. I'm more than willing to meet anyone you need me to before the shoot and if you're not comfortable with me that's fine... but I'm not about to have shoulder-tappers and extra noise on an otherwise drama-free and professional set.
I've had boyfriends or "security" come on set before shooting began to talk to me again and I always tell them (again) that it's a closed set and they can wait in the car or go get food or something, but they aren't waiting inside as it distracts the models and frankly makes me uncomfortable. I don't want someone standing over my shoulder while I've got camera lens 6" from some girls twat.
