VOD interfaces need as many links visible as possible. Either to the content itself, or to methods of payment. The idea being that we want those consumers to be either viewing content (spending their minutes) or purchasing new minutes AT ALL TIMES.
There are no monthly memberships here. No members, no joins.
Users remain registered for life. They come and add minutes to their account for years, and affiliates who have referred them continue to make their cut, for years.

while i can't speak on the necessity of several links (i'm no VOD expert), what throws me when i view it is how they all feel 'crammed' together. seems like some of the options could be spread out across more pages, links could be made more click/touch friendly, images bigger/brighter, etc. folks are browsing with their fat fingers and trackballs. they don't seem to mind browsing multiple pages, but they do so when it's easy
