Moving sites isn't a problem - rsync handles that easily. The problem lies in server configs esp PHP - make sure you note of all the added on php modules (phpinfo to see them if you don't have a /etc/php.d/ directory) and add them to your new server. That way nothing will break.

Then test your site by using your desktop's hosts file - add your new server sites' IPs there so you can see your new sites on your new server and test them without changing DNS.

Then when all looks good, go through the pain of changing all your different domain DNS settings! That's the real pain of everything!

Something I just noticed that I think is quite unique amongst the hosting world - just received my invoice for feb hosting and they billed for 28 days - not the announced "1 month price". I was wondering why my invoices always changed slightly month to month - now I realise it's because the price is determined per day and billed based on the number of days in the month. Makes only a small diff to the price, but nevertheless a good model to use... I'm all for paying 10% less for feb than I did in jan, because well, there were 3 days less hosting!
