That's funny. I use to have one just like that, but it was in 9mm. The police took it as "evidence" years ago and I never got it back. Can they just keep it forever? Supposedly it was used in a shooting, but I don't believe it. Besides, unless someone actually died, wouldn't they have to give it back after the statute of limitation came into effect?

I just got that gun to play with out at the river. It was fun to play with, would never trust a hi-point for defense. A guy I know real well owns a pawnshop and supposedly for several years now the Hi Point is very very reliable.
They look like junk to me though so I'd never buy their handguns for defense.
