When you live in the OC and worked with a place for a long time, $170k a year isn't much money. It's piss money really. Now if you lived in back woods Texas and made that, it would be a shit ton of money.
If you don't like your states union laws or related laws work, then "you" need to get out to work to get them changes. That's how the system works, that's how it actually works, and that's exactly what unions did to get what they have.
So you sit here, bitch about unions, teachers, illegals, ect... when you ignore the "real" problem of why the money in every State and peoples investments was sucked away. And then, turn and blame people that couldn't have possibly created this at any level if they tried....
Think about what you're saying.

You have to be really out of your mind that $170k is not a lot of money. She doesn?t have the option to quit the union. The only way she can quit is to quit her job. We can?t change the fucking laws in California because the unions spend more money than the reformers to change them. Unions convince the fucking sheep that "Live better, work union" is the way to go. But you can?t live better if you are not union. My wife used to have the ability to decide whether or her money could be used in political campaigns but the Union removed that option.
I have gone out there in protest and vote according to my conscience. My wife has a hard time wanting to speak up at work. She fears retribution. Unions are vicious organizations that care not for their own workers but their political agenda.
Quick example. When negotiations are going and the choice is take a pay cut, furlough days or 20 layoffs. The recommendation of the union to the voting teachers, 9 out of 10 times, is layoffs. Why? Because they rather have 480 happy voting teachers with full pay and benefits than 500 angry teachers who now may vote another way. According to the rules of seniority the 20 newest teachers without tenure would be laid off.
BTW, do fucking assume what my wife can and cannot do at her job. Also what I said before is not for you to agree with, its fact. It?s like saying, I don?t agree that the sky is blue.
Its crazy insane that $170 isn?t much money. You have a EGA as your avatar. Were you making a $100k plus per year. What I remember was not getting paid much money. I sure as hell wasn?t getting paid $100k or more per year. What do you consider a fair living wage?
