Quick story: I was trying to get in contact with one of my favorite part-time amateur porn starlets this week who I haven't spoken to in a couple of months. Super nice cute young girl that goes to college in central Florida, and aspires to be a teacher. She's done a handful of shoots, including several for me and some other local companies. So it turns out her number was disconnected. When I asked a mutual friend about her I was told that she told him recently that she had to change her cell because some porn company published her real name online and her whole family found out that she had done porn and kind of had her on lockdown.
Now I am hearing this second hand and still haven't spoken to her personally yet today. So I decided to just google her real name myself (she has unusual last name) and lo and behold, the person who told me had the story slightly wrong. It wasn't a porn site that published her legal name accidentally, it was some asshole "fan". The very first listing in google under her legal name is for a Piratebay.org torrent listing and in the comments for the listing the fan wrote "I went to high school with this girl, Name is ___ ___. She went to XYZ High in City, State." And of course Piratebay.org being such a huge site that gets indexed with high priority and authority.
What a dipshit. Just because he happens to know her he exposes her name. She probably didn't give him the time of day in high school. Bad enough the media itself is out there, but now it's linked to her family surname too. Funny part is, the dude himself has a very specific handle on Piratebay.org and when I google that nickname, he has his own Youtube channel, and profiles and comments on all kinds of forums online, so it wouldn't be all that hard to use some search tools and/or some social engineering to expose his real identity too. I have half a mind to figure it out and alert his spouse, boss, neighbors and co-workers what he is up to himself.
BTW, as bad as this sucks for that particular girl, it won't change anything overall in terms of model castings. Lest anyone think that this kind of thing would slow other girls down from getting in the biz, it's not happening. I shot a brand new nineteen year old today who overheard me and my friend talking about this situation and she wasn't phased in the least.
