It all comes down to the fact of whether good genes are being spread or bad genes
If the female is left to decide for herself on who to procreate with, she will have a better chance of having offspring with someone who's genes are well thought of by society.
However, if a female is raped, society doesn't like that as then the rape genes get spread. The rape genes have always been successful at spreading themselves around. We also have the case of the immature girl being taken advantage of by a loser, who then takes the opportunity to spread his loser genes, an opportunity he wouldn't have had if the women was mature.
Now, if a mature female selects an immature male to procreate with, it's not considered a problem as she's mature enough to make the decision on whether his genes are suitable.
This is why society doesn't frown on the situtation when the women is the adult partner, as no crappy/loser/sinister genes are being spread.
