Please tell me where it makes sense to have unions bargaining with politicians for benefits then have those unions give money to those same politicians to keep getting elected? How can this be a good thing?
You used to be in a union, you know how this shit works.

Management pushes one way and the union pushes the other way.

Somewhere in the middle is what's fair.

Sometimes the bosses push labor past that line and other times the union pushes the bosses back over the line.

That's how the game is played and through most of our history it's worked out pretty damn well for everybody involved including the general public.

Take away collective bargaining and all the pushing will come from the likes of the new Teabagger governors.

The Wisconsin Governor has already gone on record as saying that this is all about smoothing the road for future take backs.

Now we all know that folks like The Demon get a raging hard on just thinking about such, but you strike me as being a little smarter than that.

Come on man, do you want to go back to the days when our kids were taught by losers too stupid or dysfunctional to get a decent paying job?

Or would you like to be "protected" by cops who have to moonlight or take bribes to pay the rent?

If Scott Walker and his fellow travelers have their way that's what's coming down the road.
