Some bad news for Content Arbitrage

If you buy cheap PPC traffic and run adsense or other contextual ads on pages you dump that traffic on, this game just got tighter. Microsoft adCenter has followed the lead of Google's quality score and is implementing its own version of the Quality score. A bad QS makes arbitrage unprofitable.

From the horse's mouth:
http://community.microsoftadvertisin...d-to-know.aspx

Quote:
* Quality Score will be on a 1-10 scale, and be calculated at the keyword level for each match-type being purchased
* Scores are designed to represent how competitive your keyword is within the marketplace, with three sub-scores for keyword relevance, landing page relevance, and landing page user experience
* Actionable guidance will be provided to optimize and improve your quality score
* At launch, scores will be visible and exportable from the adCenter Web UI, and accessible through adCenter Reporting and Reporting APIs
Hmmmmmmmm...... sound familiar?
Anyhoo...
If this dramatically impacts arbitrage revenue off microsoft's ad system, arbitragers still have a HUGE site to fall back on-- FACEBOOK. Info on FB arbitrage.
