To really get anywhere as a company Paxum is going to have to strike deals with sponsor programs like payoneer has with AWE where they waive the card fees.
And yes, I know a lot have people have already jumped on their bandwagon, but in the end thats still a very small slice of the overall market. To really have any real penetration into the market they are still going to have to get rid of that fee or pass it off somewhere else. As shitty as Paypal always was, the real reason they got so big to begin with was that they started letting people use it for free. Maybe after they reached a certain economy of scale they started charging but by then everyone was using them so it was ok. The reality is most people still have never even heard of Paxum and it's pointless to pay for their card if not enough people use it, and right now not enough people do.

I'm sorry you feel the card fee is over priced - we have a once a year fee compared to other services that have a lower once a year fee + monthly fee's + higher transfer rates + cross border fee's + wait times to access your money.
As for free cards from sponsors - search around on gfy and you will find some sponsors will cover the cost of the card for you.
We've reached out to sponsors such as AWE in regards in getting set up with us. The ball is in their court
Edit: here is one thread with a program announcing that they will cover the fee for paxum cards
