Quiet passed away tongiht.
Dave's fiancee Julie sent me this note through facebook tonight and asked me to repost this here for his many friends. Honestly this is totally tearing me up, although I never met Quiet in person I've chatted with him for 10 years and spent hundreds of hours doing it. I, and I know MANY other people here, consider him a personal friend and looked up to him for his special brand of wisdom.
"Hi Scott,
Dave passed away tonight suddenly after a short illness and this is really sad time for his family and I. Dave was a wonderful person and I know he had a lot of good friends who appreciated how special he was. We love him and miss him very much. Details of a celebration of his life will follow in the next few months. Please let me know what the best way is to get in touch with you. I've only just started contacting his friends and family so I would ask you to please be discreet for the next few days until I can reach everyone.
