It makes you put in a password anytime you want an APP. Even the free ones.
I drove from NYC to Mont Tremblant (ski town about 1.5 hours north of Montreal) on Friday. A ton of traffic in the city and drive was quit long. I decided to take a break in Albany to go into the shopping mall and hit the Apple store. They had a big line for people waiting to purchase the Ipad. Luckily it was there was a Best Buy in the same mall, and people from Albany are to stupid to realize they sell them there so I went there and didn't wait online and got my first apple product, an Ipad 2. I decided to get one after utilizing ones that friends has. Either on vacation in foreign countries or just for daily usage. It has a lot of great tools. I got to the hotel, downloaded the Trip Advisor app. Within 2 minutes it located where I was and told me all of the best restaurants and places to visit while I am here and it is A LOT lighter then my laptop, although I am not going to use it to replace my laptop.
One thing I will say. I am a little disappointed with the quality of the camera in it. Yes it is fine to skype/facetime with people if you do that a lot for business or personal use. If you dont. You can save yourself 100 bucks and get the ipad 1. All in all, it really does have some great apps and is very convenient to travel with as it weighs practically nothing compared to a laptop.
