I live in FL, USA. Until 2010 was paying average $200 a month power. They raised the rates towards the end of 09 and now I hardly ever see a bill below $300. Was really bummed when we put in a new energy efficient A/C unit a few months ago. The new unit is nice to have, but it didn't make a dent in the bill.
