A responsible business owner leaves themselves access to funds to cover expenses for several months should things not go as planned.
You've been at this since April of 09. Nearly 2 years have passed and what do you have to show for it? Your overhead is negligible, you don't even have affiliates or employees to pay and even then you had to put yourself deeper in debt to make ends meet. You've over extended yourself to the point you are about to lose everything if your sponsor misses or delays a payment.
You can blame it on external forces but the fact is we ALL deal with these obstacles. You can't bank on every check arriving on time, you can't expect every ad buy to be profitable, etc. You have to know the level of risk you can afford to take and what you can't.
Sometimes the best business decision is knowing when to walk away. IMO you're already passed that point. Selling the domain and not losing any money right now would be a hail mary. Sorry if you can't see it. Best of luck to you.
