Reminds me of JOSO's in Yorkville (Toronto) ... A Very intimate (seats 30 - so reservations are a MUST!!!) Seafood restaurant - popular with the A-listers ... They have several full nude statutes, tons of artwork paying hommage to the female anatomy, and even the owner's daughter has her labia cast and bronzed in a picture box on the wall above one of the tables ...
A very bizzare place, but its not distasteful at all ... its a shrine to the female form.
Dinner for 2 with a nice bottle of wine (full table service) will put you back about $200, but it is an experience!
We have dined with both Denzel Washington (a true spicy crablegs affectionado) and Parker Posey there, and its so intimate, that everybody is interacting with everybody else, and the owner is very cordial and hospitable ,,, almost like you are at a private dinner party. The fact that the restaurant is an old Victorian mansion, just completes the atmosphere.
