Because no one who does adult web design on their own (freelancers) makes 50 grand a year doing it. Sure you might see someone saying they have "thousands" of clients running their shitty backwoods outsourcing operation or are booked for 17 years and do adult web design but they are full of shit.

So an opportunity like that (if it's even real) is very good pay for anyone/freelancers who actually want to do it full-time and actually make some real money doing it.
