(SEO & Content) Latent Semantic Indexing tool and Google's war on crap content farms

I've posted earlier about updates to Google's algo and how they are trying to beat down content farms. Scraped content sites as well as article sites are feeling the heat. Even legit original content sites felt G's wrath see http://www.stayonsearch.com/article-...-farmer-update

Here's a set of tools and a process that might help you with a workaround:

1) Enter your target keyword in http://lsikeywords.com/

2) You'll get a kw dump

3) Run a logic/thematic relationship analysis on the most likely/coherent keyword cluster groups from the dump you got at step 2 above

3a) Do a thematic outline of the article clustering around key questions that the article will answer. The key is to support the overall theme (the real target keyword) but using the questions to drill down to hit concerns / queries that will come to the mind of the reader.

3b) Research and find news or primary sources for FACTS that support the lower branches of the outline

4) Use a standard article format of

TITLE
INTRO
HEADING 1
HEADING 2
HEADING 3
CONCLUSION

5) Try to pepper the article with your target keyword in key logical areas along with your target longtails/subkeywords

6) Write out the outline but constantly refer to the quality checklist below:

1) Checked for grammar?
2) Checked for plagiarism? Check with copyscape.com and articlechecker.com
3) Most importantly: are the articles HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE? Do they insult the intelligence of the reader by pointing out the obvious or discussing things that are assumed? If so, revise the article.
4) What is the likelihood the articles will the article be passed on to friends? Is the article of a HIGH ENOUGH quality that people will bookmark or click LIKE on Facebook or send the url of the article to friends? If not, revise
5) Are the titles CATCHY? Do they comply with the tips listed at http://www.copyblogger.com/how-to-wr...nes-that-work/ ? If not, revise
6) are the articles HYPED UP SALES PITCHES? Do they come off as NOT objective or have a BIASED point of view? If so, revise.
7) Did you use the SECOND PERSON ("you")? (note: this varies from one niche to another. Some are more formal) If not, revise

7) Publish and ping.

If anyone needs AFFORDABLE HELP with these, contact me at [email protected]

LENGTH MATTERS - Make sure your articles are around 750 to 1000 but format them well so they are easier to read/digest and pass on to friends.
