(CNN) -- A Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix, Arizona, to Sacramento, California, declared an in-flight emergency Friday and diverted to Yuma, Arizona, due to rapid decompression in the cabin, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
"We do not know the cause of the decompression," said Ian Gregor of the FAA.
Flight 812 landed safely at Yuma Marine Corps Air Station/International Airport at 7:07 p.m. ET.
The FAA did not have any immediate information on any possible injuries aboard the aircraft.
An FAA inspector is en route to investigate.
